The group of the teachers, new immigrants from the FSU, in cooperation with well-known professors of the Tel - Aviv University was the initiative team and the founders of the organization "MAPAT
Main office is located in the "Shevach-Mofet" school (Tel-Aviv). 95% of the school students are Russian immigrants.

We believe that by creating the friendly atmosphere of active Jewish learning through the various programs developed in the framework of Jewish informal education we encourage the Russian – speaking new immigrants to become proud citizens of Israel feeling them the integral part of the Israeli society.
We are convinced that learning of Israeli and Jewish values by children and parents together strengthens the families and assists all the family members in their personal development and success in life in Israel.
